EMDR Therapy Sessions

90 minutes | $225

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps you move beyond experiences that continue to shape how you think, feel, and respond—often long after they’ve passed.

Rather than relying solely on talk therapy or coping strategies, EMDR works directly with how experiences are stored in the nervous system. Through a structured process that includes bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or gentle tapping), we revisit past experiences in a way that feels contained and supported. Over time, emotional intensity softens, negative core beliefs lose their grip, and more adaptive beliefs naturally emerge.

Many people seek EMDR when insight alone hasn’t brought the relief they hoped for. This work can help you feel calmer, more grounded, and less reactive—so your present life is no longer shaped by the weight of the past.

EMDR may be especially helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Ongoing stress or distress connected to past experiences

  • Emotional reactivity that feels out of proportion to the present moment

  • Difficulty feeling safe, settled, or fully present

  • Patterns that persist despite self-awareness and effort

Melissa is a lovely human and a great EMDR therapist to work with.
I am an EMDR consultant myself with more than a decade in the field AND I chose Melissa. She helped me get through the loss of my father and I am eternally grateful.

As a therapist, you are not allowed to ask clients to write reviews. And I know how hard it is to get credible reviews in our field as a result. So I made a choice to post this publicly to get the word out. Thank you, Melissa!

Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM)

Somatic Therapy Sessions
60 minutes | $150

The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM) is a relational, somatic approach that supports nervous system regulation and mind-body awareness. This work focuses less on analyzing experiences and more on gently noticing what’s happening in your body—moment to moment—while building a sense of safety and connection.

Through FSPM, we explore interoception (your awareness of internal sensations), neuroception (how your nervous system detects safety or threat), and the natural strategies your body has developed to protect you. Sessions are paced intentionally, honoring your system’s capacity and emphasizing choice, curiosity, and attunement.

This approach can be especially supportive if you’re looking to feel more settled in your body, improve emotional regulation, and develop a deeper sense of trust in yourself.

FSPM can support:

  • Greater emotional regulation

  • Increased body awareness and grounding

  • Reduced overwhelm and stress responses

  • A stronger sense of internal safety
